COFFEE TALK: Transparent Compensation
New rules you should be prepared for.
Pay transparency is becoming one of the key HR topics. The European Equal Pay Directive introduces new rules that will affect not only salary setting itself, but also recruitment, job management, communication with employees, and the assessment of pay gaps.
In the next seminar in the COFFEE TALK series, we will focus on what the new rules mean for employers in practice and how to determine whether the current compensation system is ready to meet the new requirements.
We’ll look at what information a company should have available about its compensation system, how to compare work of equal value, and where differences may arise that will need to be objectively explained. We’ll also focus on situations that should serve as the first indication to HR that it’s time to analyze the current system and adjust it if necessary.
The goal is not merely to “comply with the directive,” but to establish a compensation system that is transparent, justifiable, and sustainable in the long term.
